Is the Akita right for me? The discription below is the questionaire
used to select Akita owners.
1. Do you have a fenced yard? 2. Do you have other pets? 3.Do you
have children? 4. How old are your children? 5.Can you afford Obedience classes for your dog? 6.Have you ever
owned an Akita? 7.Would our akita pup be a part of your family? 8.What would you do to provide training for
your dog? 9.Are you willing to spay or neuter your dog?
If you answered these questions with honesty would
you yourself say your ready for an akita? We selected the Akita breed for one specific purpose- security. When we came to
our new home, we had bobcats, skunks, otters, snakes etc living in the area. Our child was ten months old. We purchased Glasco's
Bear Cub A.K.A-Bear, to protect our children. He has the ability and size to stop wild predators which may harm my children
and he also loves children. He's 110+ pounds, very sweet and friendly to humans, not other animals, but humans he loves.
He's very intelligent. For example,I get better participation from him when I ask him to do things politely. When I say
get in the car and he doesn't wish to get in I just sit in the car and crank, he gets the picture and gets in. Kindness
goes along way with this big bully. If you have the requirements for a large breed dog this is the worlds top protector -The
Akita.War dog of American soldiers too. They are renowned for their loyalty. He is the best of all my dogs when it comes to
protection.

webbed feet for swimming and enjoy water. They are absolutely fearless, which make them stand out in obedience courses. Care instructions are included to make you and your pups transition as smooth as possible. A precious gift, is always a great way to go. Give the gift of protection.
